Host Families
Each Glastonbury ABC Scholar has a “Host Family” – an important bridge between the Glastonbury ABC residence and the local community. These host families are special people with the desire and strong commitment to welcome Glastonbury ABC scholars into their homes as members of their families. Through Host Families, the Scholars are given a “home away from home”, an opportunity to experience the community by participating in normal everyday family activities – from chores to social functions. Many Host Families form important and long-lasting relationships with Glastonbury ABC Scholars and their families long after leaving the program.
If you have an interest in being a Host Family, please contact us at Glastonburyabc@cox.net.
Current host families are:
Dawne and Taylor Westbrook
Jori and Julio Goya
Kelly and Jeremy Browning
